An Unreliable Website You Should Avoid

This website states that they usually ship their products the next day. After three business days, I check my order status and it stated "in process." I called on the next day to get a more definitive answer. They told me my product was "on backorder" so I cancelled my order and will order from a more reliable source. I wish that I would have checked Trustpilot before placing an order with this company.

Fraudsters....please prove me wrong wd

I ordered a my cloud device around 2 years ago, was supposed to have a double back up so if one drive failed my files would be backed up. Can’t even view my files through the app anymore and there’s no option to speak to anyone about this on the website. Lost every picture I had of my dog who died. Disgusting

Terrible experience.

Terrible experience.
Shipped - didn't even make it to my country.
Asked for refund. Ignored me. They sent another one.
Sent it back - it's now stuck at UPS in Poland and has been for 21 days. WD will not refund me.
Will claim Section 75 of Credit Consumer act and get my card refunded.

I am really disappointed with this…

I am really disappointed with this company. I ordered a hard drive from them on April 03 and received a confirmation couple hours after the order. I received another email with the shipment confirmation and I can follow up the order status thru ups website.
I got surprised with information in UPS website that they tried to delivery my product and they didn't found my address. And I need to updated my address.
Last Friday I contact the company to cancel the order and they said is impossible because the product still with UPS. If they didn't find my address will send back to the company and I can receive my refund.
Almost 19 days after I bought the HD and so many calls to UPS finally will be delivered my HD.
As soon I open the box that was damaged and open the HD box was opened before I was surprised that the item didn't come.
Conclusion they got my money and the HD. I already open a claim with my credit card to receive my money back.
Stay away from this company. Do not recommend.

I bought an SSD that arrived defective. Still cant reach anyone for a refund.

I bought an SSD that arrived defective. The returns page states "call Western Digital and ask for RMA". I've not been able to contact anyone, after spending hours on hold.
Currently I have no way to contact anyone or return this. The emails are not answered. The phone line is on hold constantly. Not what I would expect at all, and will never make this mistake again.

Continued Terrible Customer Service

Honestly, I can't believe how terrible these guys are. I thought that buying a drive from a well known manufacturer would leave me okay should something go wrong.
Completely not the case. They've had a defective drive since before Christmas (2 months) and have been completely incompetent at sending a replacement item. They've now had the drive longer than I have!
I should have looked up reviews before buying!

Extremely Poor Service

Sent off two hard drives under an RMA. Western Digital refused to replace one which I have little issues with. This was on the 23rd December. I'm still waiting for it to be received back to me despite logging weekly requests for an update. After spending 45 minutes on the phone to a customer support administrator I was finally put through to a supervisor who gave me the information I needed yet another week has past and i'm no closer to resolving the issue.
Extremely poor customer service...save the hassle and just buy another one from another supplier like Seagate!

Terrible experience, if you need to return something forget it can't even generate a returns label!

Do not order from there online store

Over a week and a half for a hard drive to arrive.
Express delivery is not the work for it.
Emailed them, but no response back

Did not receive goods

Did not receive goods, investigated, took 3 weeks to say they would refund me, then offered me a discount code for all the hassel, excepted offer but never received, last phoned them on Friday to be told issue esculated and I would get call Monday with code, I asked guy could I speak to someone else as did not belive him, he promised again it would be sorted. Monday here and phonelines closed at 1730hrs and no call! Worst customer service I have ever come across in my entire life and just fob you off with what yo want to hear to get you off the phone. Avoid this company at all costs!

Customer Service, what Customer Service!

Appalling company.
Ordered hard disk direct from WD on the 14th August.
Received an order confirmation on the 14th stating most orders ship within 1 business day.
Received an email on the 17th of August stating my order had been shipped:-

Your order is on the way.

Order Date: Aug 14, 2020

By 19th August the tracking was indicating that the items were still in the warehouse and all that had happened was that a ‘label’ had been created!
As this was supposed to be a birthday present for someone and time was moving on I contacted WD on the 19th and was advised that it may or may not be delivered by the 21st!
By lunchtime on the 20th it was still with WD with its label awaiting collection.
I contacted WD on the 20th and requested to cancel my order. I was advised that even though the order had not left their warehouse and they could not tell me when it was likely to leave their warehouse, I could not cancel the order!
Their recommendation was to wait for it to be delivered and then return it. So, I had to wait an undetermined amount of time for the items to be picked up and delivered to me so that I could then arrange for them to be recollected and returned to the warehouse that they are currently in....... ridiculous! (Not sure how environmentally friendly this process is but hey, at least they get to keep my money until it all gets sorted out, in their good time of course).
I pointed out that if I was a large organisation looking to fill a server farm with WD products they would have moved heaven and earth to ensure delivery was made but, unfortunately it is just me so, I must wait.
Their operative agreed!
When I asked to escalate the situation I was advised I could speak with a supervisor but I would be told exactly the same.
So, I am left without the product I have paid for, with no understanding of when, or if, they will arrive, but sure they will miss the deadline I needed them for.
I went with WD because I believed they were a reputable And reliable company, apparently not!
Will I use WD again, not while ducks still quack!

Terribly slow website and price errors

Terribly slow website. Made a purchase only to be canceled 3 days later because it was a price fault on their side... No excuses just an email saying that my order had been canceled.
